What if Lieberman changes tunes before November,
and says, "out of Iraq NOW", gets on the floor of the Senate and denounces Bush, etc.? would that make a difference? Do you see that happening?

1. Yes, it would make a difference.
He would then lose Republican support too.

3. NO! I don't see it happening and it wouldn't matter.
Joe has worn his stripes proudly for the last 10 years, and he's not about to change now!

6. No!!!
He will not change his tune. He will hope that all the people who voted for him in the primaries will turn out for the general election & also some neocons will turn out to support him as well. This is the hope to ensure his victory in November. The only reason a lot of democrats voted for him is continuity. Many of the democrats will not vote for him in November. I believe Lamont will win the November election very easily.

7. It doesn't matter anymore. The Connecticut Democratic Tribe has spoken.
Joe should get off the island.

9. It would make a difference; it would mean he's gone off his rocker
and the men with the white coats would bring that nice jacket with the long arms for him.

He won't change his tune. I don't see it happening. What I do see is him failing in his MY Party bid and jumping ship entirely by joining the Republican Party, painting the Democratic Party as "out of touch with mainstream America", blah, blah, blah.
