$15.00 to fill up the lawnmower gas container
Wasn't it the republicans who said happy days are here again? I keep a close eye on retail prices and they are starting a slow creep up as transportation costs are passed on to those who will vote enmasse for dems in November.

My addled brain recalls george bush bitching about how the president wasn't doing anything about high gas prices (in 2000.) I also recall that he said he'd take care of it by chatting with his buddies in the oil industry. Another chapter in the legacy of the worst president ever supported by the most asinine, way too proud, ignorant, constitution hating collection of bastards this country has ever seen.

2. I've heard fewer gas motors in my 'hood this summer
Instead of feeding the gas hogs, people are raking their lawn trash instead of using the blower. They're using the little electric weed whacker instead of firing up the gas mower (those few with lawns). The silence has been amazing.

I've also noticed temporary tags on newly purchased vehicles in town. People are buying cars again. There have been few in monster trucks, SUVs and momvans. If this trend continues, driving will no longer be such a terrifying experience.

4. That's gotta be a big lawnmower
$15 would fill up my 150cc scooter about 6 times, and would last me at least 3 months.

How big is your lawn??

5. Get an electric mower or a push mower. Quieter and pollute less.
