Lieberman is counting on the Republican and Independent vote

in November. I think that he miscalculates the deep dissatisfaction that people across the political lines are feeling against Bush and Bush supporters, be they Republicans, Democrats, or Independents.

This vote was NOT the vote of some fringe element of the Democratic Party. This was a huge turn out of people who are fed up with politicians who ignore their constituents to pursue their own power and financial ends, people who are fed up with the greed and arrogance of politicians like Lieberman.

This was not just a one-issue election but a mandate for change, a vote for politicians who will put the people before big business and the special interests.

I can't wait to see how the MSM spins this.
