One word to describe Lieberman's pending Indy run.
What word would you describe Joe Lieberman's run as an Independent? Me? Does "pathetic" mean anything to anyone?

16. The TRUE "Sore Loserman."
Clearly it's his own future, and his own ass, that he cares about. NOT the will of the people he's misrepresented for all this time. They're clearly telling him he's worn out his welcome and that it's time to leave. But he seems to be listening only to his own self-interest.

I hope to GOD that other capitulating, spineless Dems will take a lesson from this. As far as I'm concerned, I, as a Democrat, am NOT PAYING these people to cozy up to THE ENEMY.

15. Favored
The odds shot up 33 points tonight, to the Field (Lieberman as an independent) a 60-40 favorite to win in November, according to Tradesports.

Just reporting what it is now. The new polling will be extremely interesting.

20. As I just pointed out in a post........
......I believe his people have him thinking about drawing enough in November as an indy to pull Lamont into a runoff. From there he would hope for his "faithful" Dems and Republicans who would prefer HIS votes to Lamont's. And it could work. Let's pray some powerDems talk him out of that.

28. Dangerous...
I am telling you...do not think this is in the bag...

There is a ton of work to do

Lamont won tonight if about 10% of the peoplw who voted in 2000...

Lieberman seemed to get his footing in the last several days, and he did not lose by an enormous amount...

Keep our eye on the ball for the next three months...

Lieberman underestimated Lamont and it cost him...we should not now underestimate Lieberman

30. R-E-P-U-B-L-I-C-A-N
Joe Loserman is and always has been a closet Republican and has merely used the Democratic Party as a vehicle for getting elected to what is an overwhelmingly blue state. His "independent" candidacy is merely a Republican candidacy by another name that will most definetly be staffed and supported by Republican volunteers, Young Republicans, College Republicans, and whatever right wing nutjobs Loserman can recruit from out of state.
