After Tonight , Expect Political Web Site regulation under 527
With all the MSM toadies pontificating about how the Blog-o-sphere elevated the obscurity of Lamont onto the national stage, I see the next push from the Less Freedom = A Stonger America crowd to be regulation of political speech on the internet.

Amending the 527 Political Action Comittie regulations, I'll bet that the case will be made to examine the combined power of reach and fundraising ability of the most popular political blogs. I wouldn't be surprised if this came within a hairs distance of the Senate.

1. I'm really afraid that you're right,
and I'll bet you dollars to donuts that the focus will be almost exclusively on the more left-leaning sites. That's why it's so important that we fight such a move with everything we have.

6. If that's the case then we can play that game too...
We will go after the tax free status of the Religous right and their involvement in politics.....(I do understand that Liberal churches will get caught up in this) but I haven't figured out how right and left churchs that are not involved in politics don't get penalized.....

Seriously, are we ready to take off the gloves yet.....Remember, Remember the 7th of November!!
