I hope a Lieberman loss will send a message to pro-war Dems.
If Lieberman loses tonight, I really hope this will send a clear message to all those pro-war, Neocon enabling pro-war Democratic incumbents. The message to be with the people and what they want and stop caving into the Neocon-Bush-Corporate agenda. I really hope this will create a backlash against this lack of leadership and pandering all over the country in the next primaries. This going along with the Neocons to get along MUST STOP!

1. Oh, it will.
Oh yes it will. Ignore their denials of any importance. The mere fact that they are being quoted means that they get it.

4. I hope it lets them know...
.. that we expect Republicans to support a failed agenda, but we expect Democrats to oppose it.

"Go along to get along" is no longer going to cut it.

9. I hope Hillary, Biden, and Cantwell are watching.
The days of voting along with or do nothing about the Neocons are coming to an end very quickly!

10. That's a great line!
A keeper.

So - who's next? If they can pull this off, progressives should start looking at replacing fascism-enablers wherever Diebold doesn't hold sway.

6. ding ding ding-- THIS is what tonight's CT primary is all about....
It comes down to voters in ONE STATE throwing out an incumbant in the primary-- the symbolism turns on this one election. America has had enough of the neocons, their security state, and their imperialist ambitions.
