Guess What's Tipping Me Off That Lieberman Is Going To Lose.......
the cable news channels are not wall-to-wall covering it. In fact MSNBC is playing an MSNBC Investigates. CNN is talking Israel/Lebanon. Only Fox has had some coverage and they are spewing the following talking point:

If Lieberman wins - the Dems are strong on security.
If Lamont wins - the Dems are weak on security.

Given this - Lamont is going to win.

As an aside - MSNBC sucks since Dan Abrams took over.

1. At least Rita Cosby no longer has a show.
That is a very good thing, IMHO. I think Abrams probably did that.

4. Yeah. I wonder what ever happened to Natalie Holloway?
I spite on the seeming snarkishness of my comment, I do feel bad for the Holloway family. I just don't miss rita cosby.

2. re: MSNBC; yeah, the weekday evening programming sucks now.
Not that it was sterling before, but now it is disappointing.

3. To your aside .....
I think MSNBC is going to see some very big changes this fall. Both in programming and in tone.

6. I just noticed that too
Usually for important elections they have the results up on the screen constantly until it's over.

7. Nah, it's a senatorial primary
No matter how closely watched by political types, it's not the kind of thing that's going to disrupt evening programming on the cable nets.

8. Corporate news was playing it up big earlier as a referendum on Iraq
until it started to appear that their posterboy for the war was going to lose.
