2. I've read it's mostly levers but there are some optical scanners.
Not sure how the votes are stolen with them.

My understanding is that Ct. has the old-fashioned hand-crankers, which Diebold does not make.

Diebold was new in Kansas City this cycle.

I can't get my question answered, how is central tabulation done and who does it? They have mostly lever machines for the actual voting--which seem pretty solid and un-riggable. But, then what?

The SOS site apparently just went down--which may be the only electronic component of the system. Shades of Mexico.
