If he runs as an Independent, us Dems are going to be able to open up the whole bag of tricks on him. Not ONLY are his political positions going to be out of line with vast numbers of Democrats in CT, Dems are going to be able to call him a TRAITOR- which will keep Democrats from voting for him- *AND* a LOSER. We're going to have a number of really, really nasty weapons to use against him, and he'll lose the GE anyway. Especially if we beat him by more than 10 points. It'll be far past "over," and even he will have to accept it.

If he doesn't give it up, he's going to be villainized.

1. Please don't under estimate how far his type will go to stay in power.

2. And that will be used against him, if he tries.
He'd be a sore loser. Desperate. Disloyal.

It would get really, really bloody for him.

I think he's just huffing and puffing.

3. And it should be held against him, but I don't put it pass him to try.

5. Benedict A.(rnold) Lieberman... (?)
well, you mentioned 'traitor'... so it came to mind. Benedict Arnoldmentum... what a guy. Well, politics has the power of cheese, so it's not surprising if it draws out some rats.
