An infuriating Lieberman quote
I heard a little snip of Joe today while driving around - I will paraphrase, but I think that it is close

"If I lose, it will show that there is no place for strong national security in the Democratic Party".
I almost skidded off the road I was so angry. So, if he loses, he will just poison the well.

I guess this is an ongoing point that somehow I missed in all the debate, see below.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/ari-melber/liebermanlamont-race-get_b_26429.html

Meanwhile, the Lieberman campaign is warning voters that his loss could destroy the Democratic Party's national security credibility and ruin its chances for retaking the White House. That is not an exaggeration. Here is how Lieberman recently explained it:

"...unless the party has room for people like me, unless the party begins to redeem some public confidence on issues of national security, we're not going to elect a Democratic president or Congress ahead."

2. More people now think Democrats can do a better job........
on terrorism than Republicans. That would seem to contradict Joe's assertion since Joe is basically a Republican anyway.

3. Uh, Joe? The last polls I saw showed America thinks Dems
are stronger on national security than rethugs. So have a coke and a smile and shut the fuck up.

5. Exactly how does pissing off 90% of the world make us safer?
If anyone besides Tony Blair backed us in Iraq it would be different.

THE ANTI-SECURITY WING!!

That's us folks. Has he BECOME Sean Hannity. I don't see a dime's worth of difference in his rhetoric.

17. Just admit it, Joe, you're a Republican!!!!!!
Guess he's sorry it's too late to change his party affiliation to Republican instead of Independent.

What a bastard ... the only thing he is good at is trashing other Democrats.

I despise him.

Until I read it, this race tonight was going to be more amusement than passionate rooting interest. Now that's reversed.

Despicable desperate no-class comment.
