Whoa! Lieberman may file voter suppression charges to invalidate primary?

Ned to Joe: Need Some Web Help?

So Tom Swan, Ned Lamont’s campaign manager, has just offered to send a technician to Lieberman headquarters to help fix its campaign web site.

Mr. Swan, a bit more seriously, said that Ned will denounce the alleged hacking into the Lieberman site during a public appearance this afternoon. This comes after the Lieberman campaign accused its political opponents of collapsing its Web site and announcing plans to file a formal complaint with state and federal officials over it.

Dan Gerstein, a Lieberman adviser, said it was too soon to say if the campaign might try to invalidate the primary results based on a charge of voter suppression.

Joe, meanwhile, has cancelled the last two events of his 10-day bus tour this afternoon because there were not many voters at the polling stations. So he’s going back to headquarters to call mayors, union leaders, and other allies, aides said.

2. So, not being able to access a website equals voter suppression?
Not likely, Joe.

3. Where was Joe in 2000
when it mattered?

He wouldn't fight Bush for legitimate reasons, but he'll fight another DEM for bogus reasons.

8. Sounds like an already-defeated candidate, doesn't he?
He wouldn't fight for the presidency/vice presidency in 2000 on legitimate grounds, but he'll contest this primary on B.S. grounds? What a prick!

there was voter suppression in Florida and Missouri.

Some older people may have tried to go to the website to see if they could get a ride to the polls or some BS like that, and they may stay home if they can't find a ride via the website.

A lot of thing, most of which favor Republicans at the dire expense of Democrats. And he's making outrageous claims to benefit Lieberman?

16. this could be interesting, though, if they ARGUE for invalidating an
election for voter suppression, that would have to work retroactively to 2004, where GOP has already been convicted for voter suppression.

18. He's going to be embarrassed.
He's responsible to make sure that he gets a server that can handle the increased traffic and bandwidth. That will be easy to determine, if he didn't.
