First time she has ever voted in a primary. She REALLY does not like Lieberman.

My mother, who was liberal most of her life and very anti-war has turned to the dark side. She burned draft cards at a Joan Baez concert and said the only times her and my father almost divorced was when they would fight about whether or not I would go to war or Canada. I was born at the height of the Vietnam war.

Now money has turned her into a Republican. Our relationship was almost destroyed but I got her to admit that her support for Bush was a mistake. She claims she is still a democrat. SHe said there are many democrats she admires such as Lieberman. How telling is that. I told her true democrats can't stand Lieberman and she was shocked.
