For years we heard these thugs rattle on about how the poor wouldn't be poor if only they would pull themselves up by their bootstraps... That America was a land of opportunity and that with a little gumption, anyone could make it in this wonderful country of ours...

If, there always is an if, that damn Nanny State wasn't standing in the way of the millions of Horatio Alger's waiting to taste the full fruit of American Capitalism...

IF only welfare and food stamps and public education were eradicated and the EPA and OSHA stopped telling hard working Americans how to live and work, the glorious goods of economic wealth would trickle down to all the people and we would have full employment and a sparkling economy...

If...

If the government would just get out of the way...

But in Iraq, these same swashbuckling Marketeers see things differently....

If we practiced tough love and started to withdraw our troops and military support, Iraq, as we know it, would disintegrate...

So that must mean the gang that couldn't shoot straight, currently in charge of all aspects of the US government, wants to coddle, protect and nourish the puppet thugocracy now in place in Baghdad...

In other words, deport our Nanny State to Iraq to watch over that dysfunctional country and, at the same time, get rid of our "Nanny" once and for all....

Meanwhile, back home.... The rich get richer and the poor get a chance to serve in the Armed Forces...
