Why are the freepers salivating over his rise in the latest poll?

1. Because he has become a lap dog for Bush. He's one of them now.

And they fear Lamont.

2. I think they are hoping for a division

of Democrat voters. They think this would mean a Repub victory.
I posted on a predominately Republican board that it would split the
vote between the "Coulter Repubs", who would vote for Lieberman to
"teach the Democrats a lesson", and those Republicans who could
actually think for themselves.

I've yet to receive a response.
