Will Liberman Election be Diebolded?
Poll shows Lieberman cuts opponent's lead
Mon Aug 7, 2006 10:05am

BOSTON (Reuters) - Joseph Lieberman, a three term Democratic senator and former vice presidential candidate, has cut his opponent's lead to 6 points in Tuesday's Connecticut primary race, a poll released on Monday showed.

The latest Quinnipiac University poll, conducted between July 31 and August 6, showed Ned Lamont, a wealthy businessman with little political experience, leading Lieberman by 51 to 45 percent among likely voters.

7. On the other hand, if Lamont wins
The people who have spent months spitting all over the concept of party loyalty will be earnestly explaining to us why it is so sacred...

Then long about October, when it finally dawns on them that they can't beat 100% of the Republicans with 60% of the Democrats, there will be a shitload of threads explaining why it's everybody else's fault that they fucked up what had been the Democrats' safest seat.
