How can we keep from one party rule? I mean, we have just seen
the outcome of this scenario when the Right has absolute rule. I do believe the US will make it through this terrible time, but, dare we allow something like this to happen again? I'm not for Constitutional amendments to solve everything, but, this is one potential big problem. We can no longer be left to the original checks and balances of the Constitution.

1. if the american people are given full knowledge
of what is going on, and everyone of their votes are counted, i don't think it will be a problem

although i would enjoy a little time while the democrats, with full and complete control, had a chance to undo all "w" has wrought.

but if there were two, fair parties, choices would be available.

and i ALSO believe if the questions put to americans are framed in fairness, equality and decency for their fellow americans, they would NOT vote to embrace hate, bigotry and prejudice.

but maybe i'm wrong....

6. We must eliminate the money and the hate from politics.
But I don't know how we can do that so long as there are greedy, hateful people like the current crop of Repukes.

2. I disagree.
If we can guarantee integrity in our voting systems, restore fairness in the media, and and get the lobbyists out of DC, I think that this ship of state can be righted.

5. I contend we are already a one-party system...
If you look at our Senators, they are all part of the ruling, elitist party. You can't get in there unless you're worth millions. I also contend that this Republican, Democrat thing is a great two-party, black and white, choose a side and fight passionately for it, ruse that keeps us all busy while RICH FOLKS choose whether or not we get to eat next month or not.

But what do I know?
