On Chris Matthews, David Brooks said DeWine making an amazing comeback,
is a model for how Repukes everywhere should be conducting campaigns, snicker snicker, wink, wink. Then Matthews said yeah, like what Santorum is doing, giggle, giggle.

I'm so disgusted. I watched Tweety for the first time in months and I hear this Repuke propaganda still being spewed. Nobody on the show, including Dan Rather, even mentioned the probability that e-voting fraud will be the biggest electoral factor in 2006, as it has been since 2002.

1. Was Brooks citing a new poll showing DeWine gaining? Because the
last poll had Brown in the lead and DeWine's approval ratings under 50%, a danger zone for incumbents.

The trend in Ohio seems blue to me in the Gov and Sen races.

9. I would like to like Brooks the person but as a pundit he is
becoming the master of the twisted logic scenario.

He beautifully constructs arguments that have no integrity in reality.

Ohio is not happy with a lot of its Republican officials these days.

Diebold notwithstanding, there is a lot of reason for Republicans to be concerned there.

I think Brown wins that Senate race.

to get us ready for another stolen election! "He's making an incredible comeback!" = Code for "Don't be surprised when more people vote for him than actually live in his state -- he's THAT GOOD! So, nothing to see here, just move along."

GMAFB!

4. Fabricate the facts and many people will believe them
By fabricating the facts such as they are it will make it easier for Blackwell to help Dewine steal the election in November.

All they have to do is put the idea in the publics mind that it is plausible for him to make a comeback.

11. During the 1989 Panamian elections the US sent a group of spies to Panama
City. They set up a pirate radio station which broadcast false stories saying that the US's preferred candidate was leading in the polls.

Panama arrested one of the people involved. He said that he was supposed to broadcast those false stories in order to lower the public's resistance if the guy actually won (through cheating?). IIRC, they planned to broadcast that that candidate won, even if he didn't, or if he did and it was close, that he won be a bigger margin.

It's kind of sad that these are similar tactics the RW use to cheat democracy in banana republics that they use right here in America.

You can all read about this in this book:

13. Probably nothing. Tweety just decided to throw him a meaty bone.
Maybe Diebold is working overtime for Santorum also.

18. He's getting it from a delusional mind
A few weeks ago DeWine was a 60/40 favorite on the betting sites. Now he's basically a 60/40 underdog. All the indications have been in Brown's favor of late, even if I don't buy those poll margins with an 8 to 11 point lead.

20. So DeWine is making an "amazing comeback"?
Looks like they're getting ready to steal Ohio again. So what else is new? I do have to wonder how long Ohio is going to keep taking it, though.
