Lieberman Reduced to Buying Votes with Beer
OK, OK, a little hyberbole on my part in that subject heading (but it is true). This is a very good--but long--two-page article on Lieberman's "desperate attempt to make up lost ground before Tuesday's Democratic senatorial primary." It contains numerous gems, such as comments that reflect the wrath of former Repukes.

In addition, the article notes how Lieberman lost ground in the polls after Clinton came to stump for him. Holy Joe (AKA HoJo) acknowledges his DINO status: "He gave me a validation of sorts," he said of Clinton.

Pretty pathetic, when Democrats need "validation" WHILE they're running for office.

1. Free Beer at Joe's! Will Ed Schultz send Dungeness Crabs?
Come on, CT DUers... go volunteer for Joe.

But make sure you do a really bad job canvassing.

Here's my suggested script for talking to voters:

"Hi, I'm a volunteer for Joe Fucking Lieberman, dude! Joe got us all wasted and sent us to talk to voters. Do you vote, man? You got any weed?"

Or

"Dude! Joe Lieberman bought us beer! I bet if you vote for Joe, he'll hook you up! C'mon.. vote for Joe, and I'll give you a beer."

Or

"Hello, sir. How are you today? I'm great, thanks! I'm a volunteer for Joe Bush... I mean Joe Lieberman. Listen, you should vote for Joe because he hates the schvatsas... you know what I mean? Hey, wanna beer?"

OR

"Hey, I'm sorry about the mess on your doorstep, but I really had to pee. I'm a volunteer for Joe Lieberman, because there's an open bar at his campaign headquarters. If he wins, he's gonna score me some weed. You wanna get high?"

That's just a satirical riff.

4. HAHAHAHAHA....
...yeah, that's been pretty much my experience.

Did you know that the human race invented beer, before we invented written language? If it hadn't been for the necessity of writing down the recipe, we'd never have learned to write.
