George Allen's "Bored Ambition Tour"
I found this on a DU ad :patriot: :boring: :patriot:

Events
Join George Allen as he continues his "Bored Ambition Tour!"

George Allen's philosophy is: why stay in Virginia when you wish you were born in Iowa! So that's why he has been traveling across the country in his campaign for President, even though there is a competitive Senate race back home. Most recently, he headed off to Iowa even though recent polls show his Democratic opponent for the Senate race gaining on him.

But he hasn't stopped there.

Bored George Allen is so bored as Senator from Virginia that he’s been crisscrossing the country. Since the beginning of the year, Allen has been a frequent visitor to the first three 2008 primary states: Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. In March alone, Allen visited New Hampshire, Iowa and South Carolina twice while also spending a weekend at the first big 2008 GOP Presidential cattle call in Memphis, Tennessee. In May, Allen did manage to stick around Virginia for at least one weekend so he could address the right-wing Council for National Policy, an extremely conservative group with national significance for GOP presidential candidates.

We'll keep you updated on future events on what has been called the “Bored Ambition Tour.”

5. Here are two recent WaPo articles.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/07/30/AR2006073000201.html

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/07/22/AR2006072200842.html

And this must be why Northern Virginians (I'm a former one) say they held their noses when voting for Webb over Miller:

"Webb, who served as Navy secretary under Reagan and only recently became a Democrat, said during the debate that Reagan had an administration that "really worked." "Ronald Reagan was a true leader," he said."

And this is the sort of shit that resonates with those outside of NOVA:

"During the debate, Allen tried to needle Webb, a novelist who has also worked on feature films in Hollywood. Allen spoke of pursuing "Virginia values" instead of "Hollywood values" and made several references to Webb's writing career.

At one point, in reference to a question about the Guantanamo Bay prison, Webb spoke of a book he wrote that mentioned detainees after World War II. Allen responded by saying that he had visited Guantanamo Bay. "That is the real world. That is not a book," Allen said."

Webb got in a pretty good one comparing Allen and Bush:

""When two people agree with each other 97 percent of the time, one of them doesn't need a job," Webb said."

Northern Virginia is KEY. I drove people to the polls on 11/2; hell, I'll drive from NC and do it again on 11/7. Booting Allen is a good reason to take a day of leave!

This is sumthin' else:

"Webb Supporter- 90 yr. old WWII vet accosted by Lieberman thugs!!!"

?v=0

The "other side" has absolutely no shame. Reminds me of when my dear, departed 67-year old Korean War vet stepfather was spit on by some PA rednecks (pure "Pennsyltucky") during a Kerry election rally. An elbow was thrown at the recent Murtha rally in Johnstown - by an anti-Murtha twit, naturally.

3. He's the sacrificial lamb to be offered in 2008
because the strategy is to "allow" a Democrat to win and get blamed for all Stupid's blundering. Jebbie will likely be in the VP slot to position him for a run in 2012.

Good thing they're stupid. It makes them transparent.

So you think the GOP will go Allen/Bush in '08 ? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
