3. In some ways I am glad and in other ways this really bothers me.
Parkison really bugs me a lot. He says he didn't change. The Republican party did. This means he is same person who spent 25 years telling everyone what is wrong with Democrats. He is the same guy who bashed the GOv 4 years ago. He believes the same things he did when he told everyone how bad we are. Sure, the Republicans may not be the same that they were 20 years---BUT HE IS. It just bugs me.

Sebelius has now picked 2 Republicans as running mates. (John Moore, Lt Gov now, was also a Republican.) Let me say that I worked for Sebelius and vote for and continue to do it. But it bothers me that she couldn't find a Dem to run with her. We may not have huge numbers here, but there are many qualified people.

John Moore at least said that he changed over time and now found himself more in line with Dems than Repubs. He may not have changed either, but at least he didn't come right out and say it. Parkinson throws it in our faces that he is the same man who has bashed us for decades. And in 4 years, who wants to bet he wants us to elect him Gov? Please. I want a Democrat.
