Watching MSNBC trying to repackage Tucker as
Anderson Cooper is pretty funny. Carlson can't seem to shake his right wing polemicist roots. So in the middle of a news report rather than gathering facts he spouts talking points straight from the right half of the political universe. Instead of AC 360 it is TC 180

With his pubescent voice and manner, NO ONE can take this guy seriously as a "reporter." Don't even try it ...

7. For whatever it might be worth ... did you see him smack down a pro war ..
... e-mailer?

Some guy said we're 'there' for our freedom or some such crap.

Tucker said, 'oh yeah? What good has some of this war? Name one thing? We've been there just a few months less than all of WWII. Have we accomplished there what we did then? No way. So far its just a failure.'

Whoa. This on his show today at a few minutes to 5 EDT.

12. I did and I'll give him credit for his early qualms about the war.
But that's it. Even knowing how harmful the Iraq adventure has been, he willingly acts as a shill for this corrupt, incompetent regime.

24. Ah, schadenfreude. I hadn't realized her show had been dumped.
Alas, no more husky-voiced reports on missing white girls.

Interesting note on the new GM at MSNBC, Dan Abrams, from his Wikipedia entry...
His father is Floyd Abrams, the prominent First Amendment attorney.

Would a letter-writing campaign to Abrams, asking for a left-of-center point-of-view, be worth the effort?

8. MSNBC was my favorite of the cable news. I had rather hear the fog-horn
than TUcker. I at least DID watch her. Will not and have not watched Tucker. I'm torn between that I hate to see a person with a family to support lose his job - and he ruins MSNBC. CNN got rid of him. He needs to realize he needs to get in another line of work - or at least work behind the camera .

an increasing resemblance to the Pillsbury Dough Boy.

19. Some of his ads promoting his lame show is trying to take on the
Keith Olbermann aura - give it up F*cker Bowtie Boy - you will never ever, have one 1/10th of the talent, credibility or honesty that Keith does in any one five minute segment of his show. That you think you can be humorous is, well...very humorous - in a bad way.

F*cker is trying to play hip and funny with no clue with what is hip or funny is all about.

Glad to hear his ratings are so dang low.

22. Tucker Carlson leads a charmed life.
Instead of cancelling his show in response to low-ratings, MSNBC keeps changing the time-slot.
