If I don't go out and do someting important like mow the lawn, I'll provide a running commentary of sorts.

1. Well, this is sure interesting, because Al Franken said that Lieb refused
to come onto HIS show. Al said this, not even an hour ago.

Looks like Ed might be a *safer environment* than Al. Hmmmmm.

5. Same deal with Randi
Apparenly Joementum only talks to non-AAR DINO radio hosts.

7. No doubt Ed safer then Al (Some lieberman commentary here)
I listen to Ed out of habit, the radio is on all day

Joe says he expects to win next week

Lamont is spending his own money

I'm not george bush

do you want to send a message to Washington or send a senator who will fight for you

"Lieberman got the message" Que??

Looking for options, expecting to win on Tuesday. I won't support lamont if he wins (sounds mushy about running as an independent if he gets his ass kicked)

Poll - unfair estimate of my service

"I don't believe in deadlines" (as a (retired) Navy Chief that pisses me off) The Generals testimony was "chilling" Mistakes have been made in the prosecution of the war. Today's demonstration is less chilling to me then sectarian violence.

"rumsfeld serves at the pleasure of the president and If I were President I would ask him to leave."

8. And he refused to go on Steven Colbert though
now that he has become a joke on that show I can't say I blame him. This is another thing he has in common with Bush. Only talk to people you are comfortable with and that you know won't throw anything at you that you don't expect.:eyes:

9. Ed Schultz is in Joe Lieberman's pocket
That's reasons No. 1 through 1000 why Joe Lieberman just took to the airwaves. Because he knows, just like when he visits Sean Hannity, that Big Eddie is going to treat him with kid gloves. Instead of asking Lieberman honest questions about the very, very negative turn his campaign has taken, the thuggishness seen recently in Connecticut from his army of paid mercenaries, Schultz tried to get him on the record about calling for Donald Rumsfeld's ouster, something Raw Story had already speculated upon and myriad progressives and former generals had called for for quite some time. A day late and a dollar short, Joe. He almost seemed willing to beg for votes on Ed's show. And what tires me the most as an outsider to this race is the "well, he DID vote with his party 90 percent of the time" bullshit. And that's just what it is. When the 10 percent is the most important issue of our time and the procedural votes that no one pays attention to yet yield disastrous results (like ultra-right Supreme Court justices), the 90 percent means absolutely nothing. And that's what I learned from listening to Ed and Joe speak today: Absolutely nothing.

Sorry Ed, I wish I had that time back.

12. Agreed. Same for Hillary. He does nothing but promote the corporatists.
