He was literally begging for our votes! Looking at the camera and telling us what his agenda "really" is:

"In the end, this election comes down to which candidate can do a better job for your future. Here's my agenda: Let's raise the minimum wage not congressional pay, cut taxes to create jobs not help millionares, start a new center to find cures for diabetes and alzheimers. I've fought for you and your family for more than 30 years and if you send me back to Washington that's exactly what I'll continue to do. I'm Joe Lieberman and I approved this message."

Apparently Joe is taking advice from Dodd, Clinton et al: get off the war, don't attack, and promote you democratic credentials.
