Bush says "Sam Donaldson is a has-been." He is, but Bush saying it right
to his face, in front of a large crowd, and on tv is horribly rude.

Our fearless leader seems to be on a roll of rudeness- Yo, Tony, chewing and talking with his mouth full, back-rubbing that woman during the summit (Can't remember her name) - all this has happened in a couple of weeks.

I wonder if the MSM reported this kinda thing regularly, how bad it would really be.

10. On The Daily Show they showed a clip of it. Bush said exactly what I said
in the OP. He also said "We don't have to listen to a "has-been."

He was grinning like a monkey, so I don't know if he was "just kidding." But I still say - kidding or not -it was rude. I would not want anybody saying that to me.

14. Never got out of Kindergarten

He is a Kindergarten Bully, plain and simple.

I taught Kgn. and the Bully Boys acted the same way he does.

7. Doesn't matter. The SCREW REPUBLIC will still worship Bush
Just like the rest of the Whore Press, they worship the ground Chucklenuts walks on and they consider it an honor when he mentions them!

The only way you can get the republican base to vote for you is to act like them. Just as dumb & stupid

9. I read the transcript and as usual Bush was trying to be...
a stand up comedian. It doesn't work because he isn't the least bit funny, instead he sounds like the ass that he is.

11. I think it is power and arrogance
It is the equivalent of eating grapes, lounging on a bed of roses while a concubine waves a palm leaf over him. He believes he rules the world, and therefore he can do anything, cross any boundary, ridicule anyone anytime. The rules don't apply to him.

23. if he choked on a pretzel, I wonder what would happen with grapes?
He'd probably have one go down the wrong way while he was whining because Condi, or Karen, or the German Chancellor, had refused to peel them for him!

16. but why does the WH press corp laugh
at these inanities?

it is a perverse symbiosis.

Any reporter with dignity is not laughing, but there are enough wannabes, cowed by power, to give the impression that the room is enjoying the stupid frat boy insults.

In addition to spiralling the world toward destruction after having stolen two elections, bush is just not funny.

20. Bush is lucky that he didn't become
president during Donaldson's heyday. He would have ripped him to shreds. He was like a bulldog and never backed down. We need more reporters to ask the type of tough questions he used to ask instead of the pansies that make up most of the WH press corp.
