The Big Dog is in Nashville tonight

at the big rally for Harold Ford Jr. I'm watching him now on tv. He has a way of talking about how screwed up the Repugs are without being angry or shrill. He is a great speaker- harkening back to 92 and 96 when TN was a blue state- talking about economic issues- making sense. If some of that can rub off on Ford he's got a shot

2. My guess is he's giving a similar speech to the one he gave

yesterday in WA. I think. There was a link here on Du to listen to it. He did a terrific job, as usual. It's amazing how he can make the Pugs look like such AH's without ever saying anything against them!

After listening to the recording I posted a statement that I'd like to post again.

But I couldn't go. Darn it! There's nothing like being in the presence of the Big Dog! I met him New Hampshire in 1992, and he is just killer! I can't imagine there has ever been a politician who connects with people like he does. None I have met, anyway.
