7. They could completely refurbish that room in about a week.
They could probably redo it over a weekend, if they were in a hurry.

they're turning the briefing room into a multi-media center with a giant wall of TV monitors behind Tony Snowflake.

4. Supposedly they are re-doing the press room
but whose to say that * isn't finally just stopping all press coverage.

5. The briefing room is slated for extensive
renovation which is apparently long over due. I heard a report yesterday that it's way too small and a total pit. n/t

6. During the W.H. Correspondents Dinner...
...they showed a film that some of the W.H. Press Corps participated in. It's like the reporters are shoe-horned into broom closets. Each reporter appears to get a space half the size of a traditional office cubicle.
