R. Emmanuel (I Love Hillary) & H. Dean... They's A Feudin!
The Hillary Bunch are actually splitting Democratic Party even more! If this continues we're going to have all out exploitation reaching a new level.

Repukes will simply say... Democrats don't get along and why would you vote for them anyway. I've been miffed with Emmanuel for a long time, time for him to rein it in!!

1. I agree. I'm a Dean fan though so maybe I'm bias, but I associate
Emmanuel with the losing attitude that is killing us.

12. No conservative is ever capable of admitting he's WRONG
about anything. You'd think losing all 3 branches of government since the party abandoned liberalism should be telling the bosses something, but apparently they're so gleeful over their tax cuts they don't mind being shut out of power.

I sincerely hope Dean puts all the skills he honed in surviving med school, internship and residency into practice and runs right over these conservative idiots who can't smell what they caused no matter how many times their noses get rubbed in it.

It's a shame that both parties have been run by conservatives for so long. Dean is our best hope for pushing them aside in ours.

4. Inside baseball...no one in the country give two hoots...
However...each have a different task...

Dean is responsible for the overall health of the party, and to grow it for years on down the road...and doing a great job.

Rahm is deperately trying to get Democrats elected this year...I understand some of his frustration, but he needs to do what Schumer seems to be doing...living with what he has, and getting the job done.

5. I Understand To Some Extent.... But I Still Think With Them NOT
speaking to each other, it can't be helpful no matter how you look at it.

I support Dean and think Emmanuel should tone it down! I heard him say outright that he's supporting Hillary for President when they pushed him. I think that was uncalled for simply because there is NO '08 candidate and we need to focus NOW!

7. I suspect...
This has been overblown in the media like just about everything else. I think Rahm has done a fine job recruiting quality candidates...

And I think Dean's 50-State strategy is visionary...and will lead the Democratic Party back to electoral dominance...

When there is so much on the line tempers may get heated, but they are both essentially working for the same thing.

6. I`ll take Dean`s fire to
Hill`s complacency any day!!!!!!!!!!! Don`t get me wrong I`ll take Hill if that`s all there is, but the primary for `08 will be very divided. The biggest reason for division??? We are NOT ditto-heads!!

8. I Sure Hope Not! Because Right Now... No For Hillary From
where I sit. She has yet to get on board with others regarding Iraq. Most Dems voted for it, so we will have to deal with that, but many have said it was a mistake... she HAS NOT!!!

11. Most Dems did not vote for Iraq
22 Dems. in the Senate voted "no" and most Dems in the House voted "no." Every one of them knew the truth: Saddam was no threat to this country. They voted for the greatest geopolitical blunder this country has ever made.

Regarding Rahm. I just read Sarota's take on Rahm, and I'm even less impressed than ever. Supporting shitty job-killing trade policies and then cashing in to the tune of $16 million, is bull shit.

Anyone who did not have the judgement necessary to vote honestly, but chose to sell us down the toilet of Iraq, does not belong in the Oval Office, no matter how good their handlers are. Saying "most" Dems, is nothing but cover, and it is a distortion of the facts.

Someone corrects a misleading statement and the word used in the response is "slick." I don't understand that word as fitting the context.

15. First and formost `06 then
we deal with a primary. Then we have to convince Bushco to vacate the white house! Have a feeling he is not going to leave without a battle. Especially if he has to leave the house to the dems!!!

13. I reckon they'd say the same for the left
But then Dean isn't left. He's a centrist, a fiery one.

Nevertheless I reckon I'd side with Dean on this one. Each side is welcome to their opinions mind you. But I rather like Dean's 50 state plan and I wish the party as a whole would just get behind him and push and see if the thing's gonna work.

Unity, damn it, unity.

"Ah but I might as well try and catch the wind..."

19. UNITY... That Is The Message Here... & I Suspect It's Emmanuel
who is BREAKING the Unity! Long time Hillary fan and too pushy for me. I do hope he will keep focused on getting Democrats elected, but he need not get his nose too out of joint regarding Dean.

I support Dean and his 50-State Plan.

20. This is probably because they have different roles.
Edited on Thu Aug-03-06 08:59 AM by LoZoccolo
Dean's job as the DNC chair is to build up the Democratic Party in general, and Emanuel's job in the DCCC is to get Democrats elected to the House of Representatives in the next election. I think it's the people who aren't acknowledging this that are splitting the Democratic Party more than anything, egging on an inherent conflict of interest which should be of no surprise to anyone (and oddly trying to drag Hillary Clinton into it).
