Fox settles sexual harassment suit

NEW YORK -- Fox News has settled a lawsuit with four women who claimed a vice president sexually harassed them, creating a hostile workplace, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said Monday.

The lawsuit asserted that Fox had discriminated at its New York headquarters since February 2003. The male vice president routinely used obscenities and vulgarities with female employees, the suit said. The offending words were not used with male employees, the suit said.
