Another Gannon in the WH Press Corps??
I found this question to be a bit odd, really a leading question of the type that Jeff Gannon/Guckert would have given:

Q Yes, the Reverend Ted Baehr, as chairman of the Christian Film and Television Commission, says that while Mel Gibson's behavior was shocking, his apology should be taken to heart. And Attorney William Donohue, of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, said, "What Mel Gibson said was indefensible, anti-Semitic and irresponsible. Fortunately, he's apologized, which is being rejected by some who should know better." In 2003 Roman Polanski, the convicted child rapist, received a standing ovation when he won an Oscar. Nice to know what really offends Hollywood. And my question: Does the President forgive Mel Gibson or not? (Laughter.)

MR. SNOW: The President believes in the forgiveness of sins for all who seek forgiveness.

Q Thank you.

MR. SNOW: All right, let's -- now, what --

Q Thank you --

MR. SNOW: It's really my honor. (Laughter.)

Funny enough, William Donohue was just on the Colbert Report and said, "I know Mel Gibson is not anti-semitic, by the way." Does he really? And why would a reporter use Donohue as a source? Donohue is about as right-wing a source as you can find. Then, out of the blue, the guy digs into Roman Polanski and ends with a dig against Hollywood.

Your liberal press, ladies and gentlemen.

3. I can't find that out
Anyone more ambitious this morning care to take a crack? It might have just been a Fox News reporter (yet another new low for them, but not as surprising), but I'm curious if it's another plant posing for another 'legitimate' press organization.

5. Sounds like a Les Kinsolving question ....
As written in conwebwatch.com: "Les Kinsolving was Jeff Gannon before there was a Jeff Gannon."

Here's a 2004 article on him "The Right-Wing Helen Thomas": http://conwebwatch.tripod.com/stories/2004/kinsolving.html

9. Yep, the snowman hasn't figured out what to do with Les yet. I have to
say, one thing Scotty dog did passably well was he sort of figured out how to curb the wilder Les rants - some of the time, anyway.

10. WorldNetDaily news?
WTF? And the guy's also a right-wing radio hack, too.

HOW DO THESE PEOPLE GET PRESS CREDENTIALS?!?!?! (Rhetorical question, I know)

2. William Donahue just says he hates SECULAR Jews.
Colbert really gave him enough rope to hang himself, and Donahue had no clue what was going on.

Who was the Douchebag of Liberty that asked the "question"?

11. Bill Donahue doesn't like anything secular
That would fall into the evil Liberal agenda.

He's a despicable, hate-filled man.

7. "people who should know better" WOW guilt from a Catholic official
okay an unofficial official.

Who woulda thunk it?

Donahue on Colbert talking about liberals feeling guilty for things they shouldn't was hilarious. Please tell me more about relieving guilt will you Mr.Donahue?

12. Correction
The exact quote Donohue said on Colbert was, "Mel Gibson, he's a good guy, is not an anti-semite."

Great timing to have that come out BEFORE Gibson went on his drunken tirade. Idiot
