The last half-hour of "Air Force One" makes me cry...

because Harrison Ford and Glenn Close are a better, braver and more patriotic governing team than those two steaming piles of shit occupying the WH, who shame us before the world. I want that America back again; the one where our leaders understand the meaning of public service and personal sacrifice.
(I was just watching the end of the film on cable, which is why I bring it up).

That line gets me every time.

9. I thought Bill Clinton told Newt Gingrich to "Get off my plane."

At least that was the Newt's reaction back when Clinton was president and Newt and others were guests on Air Force One. For some reason or other, Newt (and the guests) had to leave by the back door and Newt threw a shit fit.

To hear Newt tell it, Clinton just might as well have said, "Get off my plane." Well, he should have been glad he wasn't asked to leave while the plane was still in the air.
