you can learn almost everything just from the headlines
you've heard the term military-industrial complex so many times perhaps it has lost its meaning ... somebody sure is making some serious bucks arming the whole world ...

here are just a few of today's headlines to show you how bad it is:

11th-hour try to block US F-16 sale to Pakistan
US boosts Iraq troop levels amid Baghdad violence
Bush plans spy-drone arms sale to Poland
Bush moves to sell Spain warplane engines
Bush warns against 'fake peace' in Mideast
Rumsfeld extends tours of 3,500 US troops in Iraq

and just to show you it's not just the US:

Moscow snubs US to sell arms to Venezuela
