We need to make the case that "Republicans Will Kill You!"

The PBS series How Art Made the World, mentioned a study in which subjects, who when they contemplated their own death, acted with greater partisanship and cruelty when giving punishment to a political opponent.

Regrettably, I don't remember the name of the study.

I'll have to write it down, if I'm able to watch the death episode again.

...democrats or republicans.

Then they asked them to pour some disgusting stuff mixed with hot sauce into a cup to give other subjects to drink.

Those who weren't made to answer questions requiring them to contemplate their own demise, gave everyone equal portions.

Those who were required to contemplate their own demise, gave political opponents much larger portions of the unpleasant mixture.

And the pictures of mutilated soldiers at VA hospitals.

And add the caption; "Republican Culture Of Life"

The Republicans have means testing of Medicare Part B ready to begin in 2007 which appeared as part of the 2003 Medicare law that got slipped into the bill. Pass the word.

7. I saw that, but was thinking it may be why everyone is so

assed up lately - violent crime, partisan hatred, etc. - myself included.

Maybe with all of the cheapening of life brought about by Bush's horrid policies and wars is making everyone think about mortality more, and we are therefore harsher to our enemies.

Then again, I think our political enemies really are a bunch of greedy evil douchebags who voted for King Douchebag, so maybe my theory is wrong.
