3. Well, some of us can keep it kicked for you.
You'd be surprised how important work just drops because sometimes it doesn't get kicked quick enough to save it.

5. Yes !
Crosspost all your messages in the DU RI state forum ! Let the home team help you get the word out, and don't be embarrassed to ask them to help you keep your posts K&R'd. Nothing should be more important than helping fellow DU Dems for 2006!

Don't be shy about asking for donations, include a link to your campaign site when you do!

Oh, and it helps when you post the highlights of the link you provide. Sorta draws the reader/lurker into the topic.

I'm in the middle of the Jim Webb-George Allen VA Senate seat smackdown, when my wild and mad busy summer is over with, I hope to help more here on DU and other progressive websites to get Dems elected this fall :patriot:

I'm also trying to get rid of a Bushbot in my home district for the House.

So will help ya here best I can now, with a :kick: :hi:

9. you favored the firing of the air traffic controllers?
I honestly believe that lead to the mess we are in today with blue collar and now white collar workers not getting much if any of the increase in productivity added to their wages. By killing unions, which is what that firing did, employers were able to screw workers.

17. It's a large leap to go from federal employees
who are prohibitted from striking and blaming it as the sole catalyst for the decline of organized labor. I think you'll find that exporting manufacturing and too much sidelining my leadership put that puppy to bed. I support labor and fair wages for everyone, not just unions.

19. I have seen with my own eyes far too many companies
do exactly what Reagan did and break unions. Union membership has plummetted to around 15% of the workforce. Foreign competition hasn't helped but companies have been emboldened to screw workers by a government which showed them the way.

21. I never said it was
actually my point is the opposite. The height of unions in this country brought us a true middle class lifestyle. The nadir of unionism is bring us a return to the gilded age. I don't think the timing is mere coincidence.

24. We agree that union pay provided
the middle class a reasonably comfortable middle class wage which peaked in the last 70's.

28. I don't support union busting, but I also don't agree with
your position that it's his administration that was the catalyst for labor's decline both union and non-union. My focus will be on fair pay for hard work regardless if it is union or not.

29. It is hard to argue it wasn't
While I don't think he is entitled to 100% of the blame he surely gets a great deal of it. I can't think of a single blue collar industry that was better of post Reagan and pre Reagan. Now we are seeing the same thing happening to white collar workers. Corporations have been permitted to run amok.

18. IC. I take this as a compliment.
When you're less well funded and honestly care... it's all heart. It was this way once and it's what allowed middle america to be our bread winners not limousine liberals who play the blue collar card, but then stay comfortable in their ivory tower....

can you help the little guy?
