1. over the weekend a Whitehouse staffer hit my front door...
asking how I was planning on voting. I asked if Mr Whitehouse had changed his decision over debating Mr. Sheeler. He looked flustered, and said probably not. I then told him, in that case, that I doubt that there is much he could do to convince me to vote for Mr. Whitehouse. I gave him a water to help him in the 90+ heat and sent him on his way.

Good luck Carl. It's an uphill battle. But Whitehouse AND Chafee AND Laffee are looked down upon all over RI.

open government wing of the Democratic party? Because it's not something I hear mentioned very often, yet I think it runs to the core of everything going on in DC today.

4. Fulbrightesque investigations into profiteering
Vote and budgetary reportng on the web. Scrap existing campaign finance reform for federal campaign expenditures of $6 per tax payer per year versus pork of $200 per taxpayer per year.

It's a manmade problem with man made solutions.

Kerry? He only had 4 senators supporting him on it when he and Wellstone submitted it in 1997, and it would be great to have more with him now.

Would you support opening the books on BushInc so the public can understand what policies exactly led to the terrorism and fascism this country faces today? Don't you consider that important?

6. You're talking to the first federal candidate...
... to want to see BushCo impeached with a national bill board displaying same. It ought not to be a road that is targetted to lead to Bush... but we can assume it would....

Clean starts by having voters backing candidates who have less funds from special interests and will make the time to do something. Democracy is NOT a spectator sport.

But Clinton railed against Bush's ethics in 92 and then made sure to close the books on the crimes he and Reagan's administration committed once he took office.

That decision brought about almost everything we have been facing from BushInc since 2001, including 9-11, and that is why I take this matter so seriously.

9. Will you promise the voters the world to get your foot in the door
only to flop down on you ass once you get inside and just take and take and take, without ever giving so much as a care? Are you just telling the voters what they want to hear to get the job?
