Latest Blackwell Propaganda from Plain Dealer
http://www.cleveland.com/pdgraphics/interactive/moneywatch/

They used the red/blue graphic of Ohio to show support for Blackkkwell vs. Ted Strickland. Problem is, its based on where each candidate's donations come from, not public support.

The Plain Dealer are such GOP tools.

1. Doesn't signify much
Like the US map during the presidential elections, the "red" area is sparsely populated with rural, gun-owning, evangelical right-wingers. 50% of Ohio's population is in NE Ohio that is solidly BLUE :)

3. And it doesn't represent voter support
Blackwell's only got 37% support in Ohio, as of last month.

Reading the tea leaves at the Pee Dee indicates Blackwell and DeWine are having trouble raising money and these little tricks are the Pee Dee's way of distorting reality to reverse that trend.

DeWhine is also putting out attack ads against Brown, fairly early, a month and a half before Labor Day, probably to get Brown to spend money on ads. Last time he tried that tactic, DeWhine spent over $2 million and didn't get a bounce in the polls.

4. That area is no where near 50% anymore.
It used to be but Columbus and Cincy have grown while Cleveland, Akron, and Youngstown have all shrunk.

5. It still carries Dems to victory
when all the votes are counted and everyone eligible is allowed to vote.

2. Too bad there is only one newspaper in Cleveland.
No more working man's paper like the Cleveland Press.
