To All Clark Supporters
There are several very obnoxious Edwards supporters here who are smearing our candidate, & making outrageous statements about Wes, such as questioning mental stability, etc.

I lost my temper, & posted silly taunts, but that sort of thing gets us nowhere. Why waste our time with this pathetic bunch, answering the smears?

Why don't we just ignore all these people. I always enjoy a good debate, on the issues, but this nonsense is counter-productive.

2. I am in my cooling off period right now

It is one Supporter of a named candidate, from what I can tell. This person does a disservice to his candidate. I just consider the source & move on.

6. Much better to direct that fire toward the media
Write politely but firmly, pointing out Clark success on Tuesday, despite an abominable lack of coverage for the past week, that the media needs to be more responsible in providing information so that voters can have a truly informed voice. If we were to base coverage in terms of relative success, Clark should get maybe 10-20% less coverage than Edwards (and 500% more than Dean). Instead he gets 1/5-1/10 the coverage Edwards does and less than half as much coverage than Dean. And most of Clark's coverage is relentlessly negative, even though his position is little different than Edwards'. It is ludicrous and it is having a massive effect on the race--so please write to get this corrected!

7. Clark is the man.
Attacking Clark is like attacking America itself. He is the embodiment of everything this country stands for.

8. Maybe afterwards we can vote on who was the most obnoxious, and
nice in each camp. It would make me feel better.

9. taking a break
and will be ready to debate real issues and not candidate personal smears. I do give Edwards a hard time, but alot of his constituents do. I voted for him here in NC, so I sort of figure I have the right to complain sometimes. That being said, I won't smear him and I don't hate him. Just don't prefer him as president. But against bush (if he gets the nomination), I'll vote for him again.
