Poll question: Who do you think will win Mexico's Presidential Election?
So with the election only two days away, and candidates making their last rallies, what do you people think is going to happen? Are the citizens of Mexico going to stick with the Partido Acción Nacional, whom Vicente Fox is a part of, and elect Felipe Calderón? Or will they turn away from the conservative politics and elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador from the Alianza por el Bien de Todos?

I'm actually kind of worried about Obrador because of Roberto Madrazo because he is running a left wing alliance that may siphon votes away from Obrador. If Obrador and Modrazo end up competing for too many votes from each other, I worry Calderón will win.

1. Lopez Obrador.
Thank you for putting this poll up.

It's going to be a big day in Mexico on Sunday, one way or the other.

2. Jim Lehrer devoted 25 minutes on the Mexican election tonight.
Ray Suarez had a terrific piece.
Did CBS, ABC, NBC even mention it?

4. The News Hour is a very solid news program. I try to avoid the
other networks, but I really appreciate Jim Lehrer and his crew.

I'm glad they put some time into the Mexican presidential election tonight.

3. Do you mean win or "win"?
I heard bushbots are down there "helping" with the election, Florida style.

5. The fix is in - Obrador will not become president
The election will be no more legitimate than Florida or Ohio.

6. Obrador should win, but won't believe until I see it.
Politics has a way of benefiting the rich and powerful in Mexico.
I hope Obrador has loyal and strong bodyguards.
My dad's been living in Mexico off and on for the last couple of years.
He says things have been getting a little better but the poor still get fucked
all the time. Corruption is ever so strong and the drug lords rule in many towns.

Mexico needs a Zapatistas movement across the nation, but it won't happen.
The US would send in their special ops and put an end to it.
