Interestingly, I read it before I got my mail and there it was: an unusually large card from "friends of Joe Lieberman" full of lies and photos of Ned that Joe's friends must think make Ned look bad. Ned is so handsome and Joe is so ugly, that is not possible.

Way to go Lamont rapid responders! I'm so proud that they were on the ball. What a difference from the rather glacial speed of responses from John Kerry's 04 campaign.

Dems are waking up bigtime to this kind of crap. We're seeing real change right here in little old Connecticut.

3. Well, we're not counting any chickens here

cuz there are lots of hurdles to jump over. Having an Aug. 8th primary is tough. I'll be away but since I am so committed I'll go down to City Hall and fill out my absentee ballot (don't want to chance it in the mail). Lots of other Dems might not. And, of course, one of our strongest bastions, Yale, will not have students back by then.

Sometimes I think we're crazy but other times I feel that our time has come.

That's all you can do. The rest is up to the election gods (and Diebold, if the Repubs want Joe in there bad enough...) I think you guys are doing a splendid job, and I couldn't be more grateful for all your effort -- no matter the outcome!

I love seeing that arrogant, self-important DINO SOB given a run for his money. Go, Ned!
