I kid you not, folks-- a person I know actually said this the other day. Although I usually let her blather pass without a remark, this one I just HAD to refute. according to her, the whole world suffers from low self-esteem, especially the iraqis. if it weren't for that lack of self-esteem, they would not elect saddam, wouldn't be trying to get missles, etc., etc. I pointed out to her that, as far as I could see, the only lack of self-esteem is on chimperor's part--and he overcompensates with his warmongering bs.

after that, I went home and had a LARGE drink.

1. Oh that's rich.
Looks like we're on our own when it comes to figuring out why Iraq is supposed to be our "enemy." But it must be something bad!

2. So why not send scores of motivational speakers to Iraq
instead of the military?

Yeah, that would do it.

wtf?

3. Is that the "NEW" reason for attacking a sovereign nation?
These people are running out of way to explain their regime's actions.

4. Elect Saddam? Seems to me, IIRC, that he was installed
by the US because he was anti-Iran, and was supported by the Reagan administration.

5. So...(thinks hard)...pulling our troops out would be GOOD...
...for their self-esteem because then they'd feel they won, right?
Oh wait. That would be bad for Bush's self-esteem. :eyes:

Question here. Has anybody ever come right out and said what "VICTORY" would actually entail?
I mean, Saddam is captured, al-Zarqwi is dead, Osama Bin Forgotten Laden has been determined not to have been involved in 9/11 after all...
So what are we still doing there?
Isn't it "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" yet??

6. they wish...how many years of sanctions?...
is full-spectrum dominance getting tired?

I guess, maybe, status by commercial standards didn't inoculate the Iraqi public sufficiently for this group to question their worth...

maybe they're too stupid (half under 18?)...

maybe self-entitlement is only conviction without answers...

after all the old men die...maybe.
