NO coverage here of massive anti Bush demonstrations in Vienna

I just talked to my mother in Germany who said that Vienna is
on the highest alert to protect the World's most hated
terrorist, and that the demonstrations against him are front
and center news in Europe.

Has there been any coverage of this here, and I just missed
it?......???

1. I heard that there were demonstrations this a.m. on Air America

but no pictures or other coverage. How I miss having a boyfriend with a satellite dish -- When he was last in Europe, we saw coverage on BBC of German demonstrations, including people who had painted their backsides with "WE" "HATE" "BUSH" -- it was hilarious and not seen on this side of the Atlantic, sadly.

and they have coverage and pics. Just couldn't find any with English translation.

6. Here's the Kronen Zeitung article

K-Z is a bit tabloidy - but the article seems to be accurate as far as I can tell. My German isn't that good anymore.



Basically, the article says that the demostration started with people congregating at Westbahnhof (train station on the west side of town) with about 15,000 people. Cindy Sheehan was there! :D :D :D

There were numerous signs to close Guantanamo and shout of "Bush go home" and "When you hate the fucking Bush clap your hands" :rofl: :rofl:

They marched through Heldenplatz and to their final destination, Votivplatz.

At the end, one of the demonstrators (opposition, an Austrian Freeper?) asked "Do you think it's politically incorrect to drink a Coke?" .... something about going into a US fast food joint. (lol)
