OK Freepers call Congress with this plan to get illegals out in 4 wks.

We do not need any fences!!!

We do not need to spend any money, in fact the govt will make money on it....

We do not need to hire any new govt employees to do this, the current ones will be jumping to do it....

Two Points:

1) Any illegal found working will cost the owner of the site $5,000 per illegal, $10,000 if you do not pay in 30 days.

2) Half of the $5,000 will go to the local law enforcement department that wrote the ticket....

It is that simple... No putting illegals in jail... Just a simple ticket to the owner.....

Examples:

1) A police officer finds 10 illegals doing night cleaning at a Walmart Superstore. He writes 10 tickets to Walmart for $5,000 each or $50,000. Of which $25,000 will go to his police department... Just think of all the police departments sending out their officers looking for illegals and they know who uses them.... No get out of jail cards for Big corps, no matter who hired the illegals, if they are on your property you pay the fine...

2) Mr Homeowner, those two people cutting your grass are illegals, here is your two tickets for $5,000 each.


Simple, catch and release the illegals.... No wasted money in jail costs....

OK Freepers call your Congress people to support driving illegals out of the States from lack of jobs.....

1. Not a bad idea - BUT - there has to be a way to verify who is and.........

....who isn't an illegal alien when the hiring is being done. That way the employer can't argue in court they had no way of knowing who is/isn't illegal.

3. It is not proof but

they know when they pay them sub-standard wages. If you hire a carpenter for $7 per hour, you know he is illegal. Also are the employers withholding and filing quarterly payroll tax reports properly? Maybe some of the enforcement would be to set wage standards so they can't exploit illegal workers.

4. I agree wage standards need to be set and constantly reviewed.............

....for all legal American workers but I disagree that it's our responsibility to take care of the world at the expense of our own citizens. This is where I and many DU members disagree and yes I get flamed.:boring:

2. Far too much room for abuse.

Besides, for some organizations, 5,000 is hardly a drop in the ocean.

Also, I don't think police have that kind of power, do they?

5. How many $25,000 a night would one Walmart put up

with before they insured they did not have any illegals working there..

The Feds could give local law enforcement the ability to write the tickets.
