We need to put the Repubs on the defensive NOW!
The GOP already has its marching orders. "Cut and run" is their phrase of the moment and the one we're already hearing and will continue to hear from now until November. Like the "tax and spend" and "flip flop" b.s. we've had to fight in the past, the GOP already has us on the defensive. This is not a good sign. We need to fight them back on their own terms. Where's our "cut and run"? We need something short and sweet that gets the message across to Joe Public Voter.

2. Murtha explained it perfectly
This administration is full of chickenhawks who never served in the military. They have no idea on war policy.

The message is "Save our troops, get them out now"

3. Quick jabs, are necessary. Not long speeches...Got to hit them...like they

hit us..."Stay & Die"? Rove's quick jabs are extremely effective and its time for us Dem's to wise up. Unfortunately, those quick sound bytes are what is remembered...Aren't you sick of losing to slogans? However, they are what the American attention span (and talking heads) thrive on and what America decides upon...So do we just keep letting it ride and lose?

Saying were above it all? NO!

My point exactly. The cons use soundbites. We need that strategy, too. Are you listening, DNC?

8. A start...
Rubberstamp Congress is nice, but for the cons, they'll think that's a compliment. We need something that says "nasty" all over.

9. Again...
This is a good start, but we need something can't be interpreted any other way.

This isn't perfect, but ... "the Quicksand Administration"...

6. We don't have any media access
If we were to lose 100 soldiers this week, Tweety and the rest of the whores would still be running clips of Smirk on his 100-million dollar "surprise" trip to the Green zone. Nothing our people say or do will make a damn bit of difference, as long as the media say waht Rove tells them to
