Dems should push on AWOL issue in primaries
except for Kerry. He should allow others to carry the argument forward. Why? Because it is important. Based on how events unfolded in Iraq, it would be nice to have context of the character who so easily throws troops in harm's way. He not only chickened out of service in Vietnam, he insolently decided showing up for his easier obligation wasn't a requirement for him.

Why do I say we should push the issue? Because it is clear they have something to hide in the Bush camp.

Remember when everyone was all "Don't harp on WMD's they are gonna pull a big surprise on us"?? Well, it hasn't happened yet. They are looking like the evil war profiteers they are who would lie to scare the American people into submission.

If they'd lie about that--he'd certainly lie about serving his country honorably.

Meanwhile, there stands Kerry who willl have the support of many veterans including veteran's of foreign wars who lost limbs and comrades in combat.

1. Yes! Of course, Dean can't. Clark shouldn't. So who would?

2. why can't Dean? He's toast now, so he should get his message out
while he's still got microhpones and cameras in front of him. I liked his Anybody But Bush comment last night, and he should say something about Bush's pretend patriotism. Why? Because Americans polled on the STUPID question of who is more patriotic said Bush was. DUHHHH!!!

He has to cast things in black and white/right vs wrong for the simpleton swing voters out there so they'll say...Wow, Bush really is worse than I thought when CNN told me to vote for him in 2000. Maybe I'll vote for that war hero who looks presidential.

3. The Dems should also
dig up that Enron video showing smirk and poppy at the retirement party. THAT would be very damaging (and funny)

5. I also think they should ask why little is done about big bus.
corruption. Discuss the very limited legislation and more limited implementation to go after REAL crooks--not a billionaire fashion maven.

They should demand that Cheney release the documents surrounding the energy meetings.

They should demand to know why nothing is being done to punish Halliburton or why MCI Worldcom which was guilty of great fraud was allowed to get contracts in IRaq.

My GOD...the field is so fertile for attacks. I expect DNC reps to raise these issues, but I'd also like to see Gephardt and Lieberman out shouting from the rooftops about all of these sins.

Another great idea would be similar to Daily Show's virtual debate between Bush the candidate and Bush the arrogant president.

Keep showing his very horrible anger expressions and his lies.
