In all the brouhaha about Ann Coulter's basic lack of civility and acid-tongue, one important thing has been overlooked, I believe --
Her willingness to sacrifice her mortal soul.
I mean, how unselfish is that? Odd are, the bitch is going to fry in hell for all eternity for the things she says. She doesn't just cross the line of decency; she leaps across it like she's in the long jump.
While most decent members of the human race would tone down their rhetoric or at least act as though they feel bad for some of the things they've said, Ann carries no shame. And whether or not she is, indeed, a transexual, that takes balls.
She writes about how "godless" liberals are, while giving no indication that she's ever set foot in a church.
She goes on about how unattractive others are, while possessing a face that would stop a clock and a body about as skinny as the minute hand on said clock.
She insults women who were widowed horrifically, yet she'll probably never know what it's like to be in a relationship, much less happily married.
This gal's got spunk! Who else would have the lack of compunction and character to do that? Not me. Or anyone else I know, for that matter.
Maybe we should look beyond the insipid, calculated, predictable vomit she publishes just to get her face on talk shows and rake in money from speaking engagements at obscure midwest colleges. Let's look at the big picture. There's no one she won't offend, as long as they differ from her politicially. She will say and do ANYTHING to sell a few books and be on something besides Hannity and Colmes.
Of course, one day she'll have to stand before her maker and justify her life, a life spent beneath contempt, in exchange for a little second-rate attention.
So fire away, Ann. There's room in hell, I suppose. I couldn't do in a million years what you do; my parents raised me too well.
