If Kerry is president - RFK, Jr. as head of the EPA?

I think this is a possibility. RFK, Jr. is a great environmental lawyer, and he is backing Kerry.

I am SO SICK of hearing that Kerry is no different than Bush.

1. We're expecting head of EPA or Dept. of Interior.
This will be a HUGE seachange for this country and the WORLD.

Also expect serious and MEANINGFUL intervention in enviro and healthcare problems in Africa. That is a priority for Teresa Heinz Kerry.

2. That would be a superb choice - RFK Jr. wrote a great article...
... on the enviromental abuses of the Bush Administration. It was a LONG article.

I harbor fantasies about the Kennedy family returning to Presidential politics. The Kennedy's are extraordinarily rich, but they haven't forgotten where they came from.

Save the Earth -- dump Bush
In a slashing interview, environmental leader Bobby Kennedy Jr. denounces the administration's "crimes against nature" and discusses the Democratic presidential pack, the dawn of Arnold's California reign -- and his own political future.

<snip>
You charge in your Rolling Stone article that Bush is the worst environmental president in American history.

Yes, that's true. And he's far worse than No. 2, who's Warren Harding. Based upon the fact that we have 30 major environmental laws that are now being eviscerated. All of the investment we have made in our environmental infrastructure since Earth Day 1970 is now being undermined in a three-year period of astonishing activity.

<snip>
What about the Democratic Party? Isn't it part of the problem too? Democratic politicians receive money from many of these same corporate polluters. And Al Gore certainly failed to make the environment a major issue in the last presidential race, even though he was supposedly Mr. Environment.

9. That would work, too... I'm flexible.
I think I read this interview (or at least browsed it) when it came out. Between that and the Rolling Stone article, you have everything you need to know about Bush's horrendous environmentalism. There's got to be a campaign commercial in there somewhere.

4. Gerald Ford's son - don't remember his name -
also has a long active interest in environmental matters. Odd for son of a republican, but Ford was much more moderate.

6. I wonder if the Kennedy's
are a little gun shy. Fords sons name is Jack. Not the one on TV. RFK Jr. is truly interested in the environment.
