4. I would like to stay out of this, but feel the need to jump in.
The freeper-like snide cracks about Coulter's sex, gender or lack of gender have taken on a new life of their own, all over the net and-horrors-right here!

Olberman's comment was as out of line as is all the other giggling, adolescent crap and it is getting pretty disgusting.

It is not Anne's sexual proclivities that are the problem! It's that twisted, evil mind, so like Zarkawi's or Bush's that is the sorry problem!

I love DU because, as a general rule, that kind of shit is kept to a minimum: I come here to get away from that shit.

Please, people, we can-and must-do better!
It's so easy to fall into the trap and start acting like something we absolutely despise, then we become little copies of Anne Coulter. This does not have to happen.

8. Olbermann is one of the most open-minded people out there
and it's hard to accuse a person who used Renee Richards as an eye doctor (she did excellent work on him, too) of being insensitive to certain issues.

Does he take a cheap shot once in a while? With Coulter, yes. I guess he finds it hard to resist, and frankly, given what kind of person she is, I find it hard to blame him.

Of course, I also say that calling her a "man" is an insult to the male sex. And that yes, above all, her problems are with her heart and soul...nothing else.

10. Get out the Ouija Board!
Somebody channel the spirit of Mark Twain, PLEASE!! I'm just dying to hear what kind of witty retort, dripping with sarcasm, would have come off his lips in response to THAT!

Has Coulter ever even read Twain? Pssst, Ann: that guy was nothing more than a treasonous, godless, slandering LIBERAL! Oh, and by the way, he was witty and intelligent; not your type at all.
