1. I'm watching, though Tweety makes me puke.
As usual, Tweety is jumping in and cutting them both off. Tweety is running his mouth a mile a minute.

3. Hahahaha
Quite a few VA DU members think Webb is great. Just be happy you don't have to vote for one of them like I'll have to do.

7. Miller has been called the "Anti-Christ of Outsourcing"
Apparently he has an IT company or whatever and he's outsourced the balls off it. That pretty much does it for me. If you're not with us on that issue, you're not with us. Period.

Webb was anti-Iraq war from day one and wows to stop outsourcing. That's good enough for me. I'm just sorry I can't vote for him.

10. That Anti-Christ line is lame and a real turn off.
I do agree that Miller is terrible on outsourcing and technology related issues. That doesn't negate the fact that Webb is terrible on Affirmative Action and civil rights.

11. Webb didn't start that
I've never even heard him say that actually. That's what people in Miller's industry say.

12. I know he didn't. That doesn't mean it isn't a low blow.
It started on Raising Kaine web site or at least one of the poster used it and they all ran with it.

15. Well, I'm planning to vote for Webb! It will be the first in my ...
lifetime that I have ever voted for a Repub, former or otherwise! My beef with Harris Miller is that he refuses to say whether he supports the war in Iraq; Webb is against the current Iraq war; Miller thinks there is NO problem with the DRE Diebold voting machines without voter verified paper ballot; Miller, although he excoriates Webb for being Reagun's Secty of Defense, has no answer for the fact that he has given thousands to current Republicans, such as Denny Hassert; Miller also doesn't agree that there is a problem with outsourcing our jobs overseas!

Miller says he is the only Dem in the race, but his beliefs do not convince me that he is a Dem! I think he is nothing but a big money lobbyist, who gives to Repubs as well as Dems.

I'm going for Jim Webb! If he is elected and he betrays the principles that he has laid out, I swear that I will work to defeat him in his next election!

4. Okay, I give that one to Webb .....
.... but not for anything he said. He and Miller seemed to pretty much have similar views on the (mostly stupid) questions Tweety asked. I give it to Webb on intangibles. Miller seemed more ... I dunno ..... dweeby. Webb came across as smart and tough. I think that's the easier sale to make in Virginia. Also, Webb just seemed to sorta 'exude' gravitas. Miller ... not so much.

8. I agree Webb came across better, and I’ve seen him acting the analyst
a few times. He seemed pretty knowledgeable

9. I think Webb would be the stronger candidate against Allen..
Webb don't take no shit. He used to kick Ollie North's ass in the boxing ring.

Webb is our best chance of getting rid of Allen.

14. kentuck, I received this from the Miller campaign...I missed Tweety
because I went out to dinner with my mom and sister; so how does Miller's email score with the actual debate? Here is Miller's email:

Confident Miller crushes Wobbly Webb in Hardball Debate

There's no question about it - Harris Miller took on the toughest "Hardball" Chris Matthews had to offer and showed why he is the strong, confident, well-prepared candidate that can beat George Allen in November.

By contrast, Jim Webb fumbled nearly every question he was asked. And when Chris Matthews asked both candidates if they supported Mark Warner's possible run for President in 2008, Harris answered a resounding "yes." Jim Webb squirmed and said he was "undecided."

That tells us everything we need to know about who is the real Virginia Democrat we can count on.

Throughout the show, Harris confidently handled every question he was asked. He repeated his call for Donald Rumsfeld's firing for his failures in Iraq. (As he has throughout the campaign, Jim Webb refused to make the same call.) Harris talked knowledgeably about the immigration issue, while Webb floundered in his answer, several times complaining that it was "complicated." Harris called for a re-evaluation of the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, while Webb said he believed it should stay intact.

Harris also consistently used his answers to take the fight to George Allen, just as he has throughout this campaign and will straight through until November.

Meanwhile, Webb couldn't explain his recent comments that "Clinton fatigue" led him to endorse George Allen over Chuck Robb in 2000. He continued to dodge the question of what values he saw in George Allen and George Bush six years ago that made him think they would take our country in the right direction. And Jim Webb showed no sign that he was willing or able to aggressively take on George Allen.

The Miller campaign has incredible momentum as we roll into the last few days of this election. Today on "Hardball," Harris showed Virginia and the national audience why he is the only candidate that can win on Tuesday and win in November!

If you received this message from a friend, you can sign up for Harris Miller for US Senate.

Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of the employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.

Contributions or gifts to Miller for Senate are not tax deductible for income tax purposes. We may accept contributions from an individual totaling up to $2,100 per elections with the primary and general election each considered a separate election.

Federal law prohibits contributions to the campaign from the general funds of corporations, labor organizations or national banks (including corporate or other business credit cards): any person contributing another person's funds, foreign nationals who lack permanent resident status; and government contractors.

I thought Tweety was repeated at 12:00 am; I'm watching now and it is our buddy Keith Olbermann. Maybe tweety is repeated at ll:00 pm? I missed it in any case, darn it!
