Will ronald reagan die again this summer?
So "conservatives" can waste millions of tax dollars to bury him again and get the base all moist as the elections near. How many times has bush caught Zarqawi? How many fake eulogies can be told about a monster of a president?

And now that the hate gay amendment has died (again) I suggest that the gop propose bringing back slavery. Now that would really get "conservatives" in America to flock to the polls. Hating gays, owning slaves, killing immigrants, what could be more patriotic?

2. Zarqawi
I heard that Zarqawi was killed in an air strike. Did we take out an entire city along with him? Wouldn't seem like such a victory.

5. Judging by some comments from colleagues - St. Ronnie was
assumed straight to heaven. His body was spared the indignity of the grave.

8. That's true. Now he's the saint you pray to if you have hemorrhoids,
drool uncontrollably, or drink puppy blood. "Help me, St. Ronnie, find a nice little yappy bison frise to tap."

7. He'll never die...
He's the perfect neocon saint meant to blot everything good that we ever did or stood for. Case in figure: http://hnn.us/articles/1853.html

10. No, but Ford could, although he was more liberal than Lieberman
I think you could make a case that Nixon was more liberal than Lieberman.

Ford may not have ever been a conservative, but he is a republican who served in Congress many years, representing a very conservative district. I will be sad, as someone who grew up living in his district, when he does die. I'll be sad enough to be pissed if I see either side cashing in for political gain.

I never liked Reagan as President, but I was sad for his family when he died, even Nancy. They had been through so much, dealing with his alzheimer's and all. Nancy looked like she was going to collapse at the funeral-it's hard not to feel sympathy for someone when they look as devasted as she did that day.

11. Not that, but repubs may pick a day this summer to
be a national holiday celebrating the life of Ronald Reagan.
