A heads up for those interested in the Virginia Senate Primary

Tomorrow on Hairballz they will feature some sort of debate between the two men vying for the chance to challenge that famous empty suit, George Allen.

Former Republican and former Navy Secretary for Reagen, Jim Webb, will debate lawyer, liberal, wonk, and DC lobbyist Harris Miller.

Stinky the Clown will be tuned in and pulling for Jim Webb. This is, after all, Virginia. A liberal like Miller, with no government creds and a reputation as a gadfly is not what it takes to win in Virginia. Webb will likely never be a DU darling, but he can beat Allen.

I'll take Webb over Allen twice every weekday and four times on Sunday. Other than Kerry losing in 04, my biggest disappointment in that debacle was seeing my southern neighbor state stay red. Virginia really **wants** to be blue again. I honestly think Webb can help make that happen.

1. I so agree with you, Husb2Sparkly! That is why I have signed
up to volunteer for Jim Webb, with my time and my money, this liberal, yellow dog Democrat! I think that Jim Webb can beat George Allen! I have some concerns about Jim, that I hope and pray he doesn't disappoint me on; but my beef against Harris Miller is that he sees no problem with the DREs, electronic voting machines without a voter verified paper ballot! He also thinks it is OK to send our tech jobs overseas! HE also doesn't seem to care about labor unions;

I'll just say that Jim Webb's policy has spoken to me and liberal, yellow dog Dem that I am, am willing to give him a chance; if, however, he betrays me and reverts back to his former Republican ways, I promise that I will work my ass off to defeat him in his next election, six years hence!
