From about March - June of 2004, the Haditha dam was my home base of operations. I was there with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines, attached as a Combat Videographer. Aside from a few Operations that took me away from the town, I lived in the dam.

It was not optimal, but it was not as bad as this.

The fact that it is now is criminal.

1. consider the source...
career military are going to protect their own..

my personal opinion is that Falluja was ALSO A MASSACRE..

I saw a disturbing CNN video on falluja... probably many more civilians innocently destroyed with bigger weapons...

this man brags of his time in Falluja and says Bush halted the operation and his buddies called it 'operation just kidding"

"Later, after we came back from Fallujah (the first assault in April, which Bush ordered halted when his poll numbers started to tank; we called it Operation Just Kidding) I ended up on the second floor, which had working plumbing in it. "

Well, soldier boy.. you know who isn't kidding? The dead people in Haditha and Falluja..

all those innocent kids have their blood on your hands...

keep posting on dailykos but take a look in the mirror.. 'not that bad' is a matter of your own personal and possibly warped opinion..

OUT OF IRAQ NOW and get the soldiers back home with their families and away from situations where they endanger innocent civilians all over the world..

our military is becoming a lethal mercenary force / dangling like a marionette at the control of corporate giants so big and so silent (carlyle, halliburton, saic, bearing point) but so dangerous...

it's time for Americans to see that even the soldiers share PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY For shutting down this war..

soldiers of Iraq.. it's time for mutiny on the bounty!!!!

2. Allied soldiers forced German civilians to see the death camps
They took them inside and made them look. But no one will do that to us. It will all be forgotten -- by Americans.
